I have been a professional ceramist and mosaicist since 1997; i've been giving lessons in my Paris studio for some 10 years now.

Mosaic craft is an easy way to create, giving amazing and encouraging results very quickly. So, as time goes by, my students become more and more bold and inventive. Mosaics are a playful and varied art form: designs are limitless; nearly any material and any base may be used and combined.

Furthermore, you don't need to know how to draw to execute a project. Abstract compositions, unexpected designs - let your inspiration guide you and you'll develop a style of your own.

In this book, I offer four projects in varying styles, each of which presents different technical challenges. Going step-by-step, you will discover all the different techniques of cutting and placing and will become expert in handling the four primary tools.

This book is a handy tool for working with mosaics. And the intriductory pages present all the information you'll need before you begin working.

I hope you will enjoy consulting with this book as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Happy Creating!
